Delay closing Windmill Elementary School and Feinstein Elementary School at Sackett Street until a task force studies how to restore neighborhood schools at the elementary level.

Postpone the creation of three K-8 schools until the School Department is able to thoroughly explore the pros and cons of this approach. The district currently has middle schools with grades six through eight.

•Close Feinstein High School and Perry Middle School, but keep Bridgham Middle School open. Brady decided to keep Bridgham open because the building is in much better condition and has superior educational facilities.

Has Tom Brady's fantasy value taken a hit?

February 20, 2010 |15:33 | Gossips  By : Team X

Has Tom Bradys fantasy value taken a hitThe patriots were just not the dominant team this year. They did not have an every down back who is a threat. This type of back would only help Brady greatly.

His Wide Outs are decent, however they are not very deep. Wes Welker is a work horse. He catches everything that comes his way.

He was much better we he was an unknown player. He has become the guy to stop in that offensive system.

Randy Moss still has the ability to have Hugh games, but these two are not the same duo they once were.

Tom Brady Vs_ Peyton Manning Debate Not Over YetThe great debate of the past decade has centered around two top-tier quarterbacks. Tom Brady.

Peyton Manning. Dead horse? Maybe. It's been broken down hundreds, maybe thousands of times in the past.

Some would say that the two are beyond comparison because of their black-and-white styles of play.

Brady is far more cerebral, making safe throws on short patterns, while Manning is a risk-taker. The numbers don't lie in that regard.

Tom Brady tees it up

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady’s shoulder, fingers, and ribs have healed enough for him to play. Well, to play golf, anyway. Brady yesterday teed off in the first round of the Pebble Beach National Pro-Am. Playing with pro Steve Marino, Brady's tandem is tied for 92d overall. They’re tied with, among others, Jason Gore and Don Cheadle.

om Brady tees it up

Brady made SportsCenter this morning for one wild shot. He smoked an iron from the fairway that landed in the left rough, bounced off a hill, and rolled to within about five feet. Then he missed the putt. Does that count toward the Patriots’ red-zone problems?

Bonus could affect Tom Brady talks

February 9, 2010 |15:18 | Gossips  By : Team X

Bonus could affect Tom Brady talksWith quarterback Tom Brady entering the final year of his contract with the New England Patriots, the sides are expected to negotiate an extension that will likely make him one of the highest paid players in the NFL.

The question is when those talks will truly heat up.The presence of a $3 million roster bonus could potentially take negotiations to a higher level.

Brady is due the roster bonus on March 5, which is the first official day of the 2010 league year.Roster bonuses can create an added incentive for a team to strike a deal with a player.

Instead of paying the roster bonus and then later striking a lucractive extension, there is sometimes a benefit for the team to get it all done at once from an overall cash standpoint.

Brady's new deal could be anywhere from $15-18 million per season, and possibly higher, so it's difficult to gauge how much a $3 million roster bonus could factor into the pace of negotiations. But it is one factor that could come into play with Brady's contract situation.

While Manning has performed at a level of consistent brilliance, he has just his one Super Bowl crown in 2006, whereas Brady has been the ultimate big-game player after lifting the Vince Lombardi Trophy three times.
MVP Brady was MVP of the Super Bowl in wins over St Louis in 2002 and the Panthers in 2004, and led the team to retain the title in 2005 against Phialdelphia.
