Tom Brady threw his second straight complete-game victory as the Foxboro American Legion Post 93 baseball team knocked off first-place Norfolk, 8-2, on Friday.
Brady (2-0) allowed three of Norfolk's six hits in the game. In the first inning, Norfolk taking a 2-0 lead on three singles.
And a sacrifice fly. From there the Mansfield native settled in, finishing with three strikeouts and one walk.
Foxboro got both runs back in the bottom of the first, stringing together four hits, including RBI-singles by Mike Perillo and Nick Thrasher. Post 93 (3-3-2) again used four hits for two runs in the fourth inning, the runs coming in on RBI-singles by Tom Savageau and Joe Clagg.
In the fifth inning, Foxboro benefited from a two-run homer by Mansfield's John Garabedian, now playing for the Bears of Bridgewater State College. For the game, Post 93 had 14 hits, including three each by Perillo, Thrasher and Jim Gilmore.
